FAMILY FORUM
|

|
The
Board of Directors of the IEF instigated the
creation of the Family Forum with the aim of
providing members of the next generation with
an entity in which to carry out activities
aimed at equipping them to fully assume their
responsibilities as the future owners and/or
managers of the family business. |
The Family Forum is the entity
created for the families of the Institute's members,
particularly the younger ones, who represent the
generational continuity of family enterprises.
The main aim of the Family Forum, which is made
up of 350 members, is to raise awareness in this
group of young people of the importance of their
role in the generational transition, as well as
encouraging them to participate in events organised
by the Family Enterprise Institute and implementing
the training and interchange activities that are
deemed to be most important.
The Forum organises an annual meeting of all its
members which encourages the exchange of experiences
and knowledge between its members, together with
academic activities. In addition, other events
are organised which are attended by leading entrepreneurs,
professional academics and politicians.
