For some time now, the Family Enterprise Institute
has been undertaking considerable work in the
field of training through the organisation
of seminars, conferences and courses which
are attended by representatives from institutions,
entrepreneurs and experts on the subject in
question.
By means of meetings held in
recent years with representatives from political institutions
employers and
social organisations, the Family Enterprise Institute
and their intermediaries have made themselves known
and exchanged approaches and experiences. In order
to explore in greater depth all the aspects that have
a bearing on the continuity of family businesses, the
Institute also organises symposiums, conferences and
seminars which are attended by top entrepreneurs and
experts at both national and international level.
The task that the Institute has set itself is to raise
awareness in the university world of the importance
of incorporating in their academic curricula a subject
that affects over 95% of Spanish companies, whose survival
partly depends on the efforts made by the educational
system in favour of training entrepreneurs, managers
and the entire group of people and institutions involved
in family business. By the same token, the Institute
hopes to increase the business world’s level
of participation and collaboration with universities.
